That's super awesome of them for your crew but I would never put my own money into the corporation haha

These shelves are $50 at home depot; they should be coming out of the stores funds, not your paychecks.

$60 some at Walmart T^T which is where I went to buy it...

You get pay-outs for it right?
Just a warning you could get in trouble for overspending your store's budget, and the DM could get involved. Starbucks has deals with companies specifically to save money on products that they use in store and in the back of house. Unless your Store Manager asked you to do it in writing (text, email) you could get in trouble.

Ooohh good to know~!

Wait, what? Your coworker spent THEIR OWN MONEY on a shelf for a multi billion dollar corporation???? Hell no, that is super not ok that you're spending your own money on the store.

I'm that co-worker lol I spent way too much money for the store over the time I've been here~ but I do get pay-outs for it so it's no issue for me

As long as you're getting pay outs. Paying out of pocket is a big NO

Most I’ll ever do is buy those markers people love to draw with! As the better we present the store the more customers we will hopefully get!

damn i remember when i cared enough about the store to wanna buy things like chalk markers, sharpies, pads/tampons, and even thought about getting us a microwave at one point. not anymore! that’s nice of him, but the company should be paying for stuff like this
