Any Partners working with spinal stenosis? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by SangoirePhoenix
I was just diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis and am not sure how to function at work. The issue has been chronic but once it got really severe I was finally able to get a diagnosis. I’ve been having issues with massive headaches that leave me sick for days if I overexert myself and a lot of the motions I go through at work cause pain or my left hand to go numb. Is anyone functionally working with this condition and could share some tips for maintaining my physical health and my sanity during my shifts?

When I first got diagnosed, I did dry needling thru a physical therapist for my headaches. It won’t feel great at first but after a few sessions it will be amazing!! I eventually had to have a c5-6 and 6-7 discectomy and replacement because of numbness and inability to use my hands properly.
