Hi everyone! I just got hired and I’m trying to build my wardrobe. I haven’t worked in a restaurant in a long time, and when I did I had godawful ugly shoes. What shoes do you like that meet the dress code and are fairly comfy for 5-6 hour long shifts? Bonus if they’re not too pricey!
Thanks!!

They are not cheap but Vans UltraRange are a good choice. Stylish, comfy, some are weather proof (repeals water) and have great grip for a shoe that’s not non slip

We get a discount at Sketchers!!! Comfy and they have nonslips

They’re ugly as all hell but it’s part of the charm, look at Crocs for Work line

I thought those were against dress code lol

They shouldn’t be, there’s one with backs, they fall under the list of acceptable materials, and they’re nonslip. It’s a specific line of shoes they have for the workplace

Have you worked fast food? Or had a job that required non-slips? As it will come down to personal preference imo. I check out Shoe for Crews it’s cheap and it’s on Amazon! Which means 1-day delivery!!!! But they will need to be broken in as well for me I add some Dr. Scholls as they help my feet.
Also!!! If you do not have any T-Shirts without designs buy a good amount as you never know. And some may looked passed this but a good pair of pants! As I had pants ride up my crotch area or just give me a bad wedgie which can be uncomfortable.

Yea my first job which was a restaurant/fast food style my shoes where something a 50 year old dad would wear. But it got the job done for 3 solid year. They were comfortable but big. I enjoy shoes with a ankle support or has a fit of vans as if I’m moving a lot I want to no sprain my ankle
