I was told by my shift supervisor that the contents will be inconsistent because some ingredients will settle towards the bottom of the blender. One frap will have maybe more syrup and the other have maybe more ice. But we still did it anyway.

We have so many new hires it’s impossible to slow down and actually teach them standards, it’s just too busy all the time. Any time they train on bar theres a rush so they end up learning the shortcuts. It backfires when our manager eventually sees how they work on bar.

Ok i wanna know how to batch refreshers! Obv. not when my manager is there. Got in trouble for batching 2 grande caramel frappuccinos in the same order because "the blenders aren't designed for that" when the blender did just fine. So now i just do it when he's not around. But i had 5 VBH refreshers and lemonades today and i wanna know how to batch those!

Make a trenta, no ice, put a scoop of ice directly into each venti cup, pour. Venti no ice will make 2 grandes, etc. I do this with refreshers and iced teas

What I learned in my years here is blend two Ventis and a grande together you get enough left over for three Ventis and no need to hold down the lid

Instead of holding the lid down, you can put a grande/venti dome lid on top of the lid and it will hold it in place

I don’t work there so I’m not sure if commenting is allowed but I never even see how they make my drinks And I honestly don’t care what they do as long as no one is sneaking dairy into my beverage.

About half of my customers would watch how I made their drinks. It doesn’t matter until they start telling me how to do things that are unreasonable. I had a lady who would get mad for not hand washing the steaming pitchers in front of her once during a rush and that was annoying af

I do that with milkshakes. Oh you want a strawberry and a vanilla? It’s all going in the blender. Pour vanilla shake then add strawberries, blend a few seconds and pour. Anything to save time.
