Is anyone else planning to call out for the holidays? Having thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years off sure sounds good especially if I am getting paid for it

Starbucks doesn’t give hourly employees paid holidays off lmao
I used to work at a place where if you had 3 consecutive years of service then you could not work a holiday and get paid your regular rate or choose to work the holiday and get paid 1.5x your rate (2x for Christmas) but that sure as heck wasn’t starbucks

The covid leave is if you or someone in the store gets it and I've been told can only be used under certain circumstances. It's only 2 weeks of pay so I'm not sure what you mean by having all the holidays off?

They wouldn’t. You get paid for the hours you get scheduled at your normal regular pay rate.

So you’re “planning” to lie about being sick, screw over your partners on the busiest days of the year, and abuse sick pay? Yikes. If you don’t want to work holidays find a non-retail job
