Perfectly fine to get upset. But lashing out, is another story. I used to hustle and bustle until I was out of breath, until one of my coworkers stopped me and gave me that grand reminder. "It's just coffee. They'll get it, no matter how long it takes." By taking that little shred of time, coach these beans on our basic questions. Are they thanking the customer? Are they asking, hot or iced? Do they need a refresher on CBS? You can get a little upset, there's nothing wrong with having feelings. But everyone learns at a different rate. I'm set to be promoted mid December, but when I started in February, I was a bloody wreck. Milk everywhere, splatter all over the place, syrups all over my hands and arms. But someone took a fraction of their time to stop me and say, "Hey, that chai gets 5 pumps, not 4." That's how I mastered this *absolute bitch* of a menu. It's that little bit of help that goes a long way. Just be patient, and be caring. It'll make the biggest difference.

Whenever I’m learning something new it helps me if someone answers my question or corrects me and then ALSO tells me where I can find the correct information.
“Hey so a Frappuccino gets 2/3/4 pumps/scoops and corresponding ice scoop. Here’s the info for that if you need it again” (our frap info is on the top of the cbs fridge so you can just pull it out a little and see basic recipe)

This is completely normal behavior for a green bean. I’m sure that you did plenty of things that frustrated your coworkers when you started working. I’m sure you probably ruined one of your coworkers drinks right before they were going on break. We all have.

Maybe once you‘ve been here longer you can answer their questions without being thrown off.
