I- don't know. I had made a post earlier this week asking if anyone else had issues getting their first schedule, as I was having issues. Well, I was officially hired on the 2nd. I was told I would start in two weeks from then, and I was down because I had to put my two weeks notice in at my other job. Well, I've checked My Partner Hours and still nothing is there and I was marked to start tomorrow. I'm just so panicked because I've messaged the managers, and they said they would call me. They never did (Which Starbucks is so busy, I understand that much and can respect that.) and no one ever called about my schedule. It's just, I called and I just missed them to ask about my schedule. It wouldn't bug me that much, but I'm officially done at my other workplace and now I have no clue what or when I'm supposed to start work. I have the paperwork done, my partner number, and the uniform (apron & hat). I don't know If I did something wrong, or did anyone else have this much trouble?

i hope this gets resolved really soon, things do get busy at work but that is no reason to have poor communication skills which will impact new hires. in the mean time, maybe you can apply at other stores in the area or keep calling your store like crazy until you get an actual response. there’s just no excuse for this total lack of regard for your time and onboarding

edit: i have to say, i would not want to work under a manager that is this forgetful which is why i recommend applying at other stores! i know you’re probably ready to work NOW but it might be worth it to get another foot in at a better location if you can.
