I honestly don’t think there’s much of a difference when you batch blend and when you don’t but we’ll agree to disagree.
Point blank, as I mentioned before, it’s not easy to just get another job ESPECIALLY as you pointed out, in a pandemic. It’s difficult having to choose between eating and mental health but guess what most of us have to do? Exactly.
Don’t be a firefighter if you don’t wanna put out the fires? Just because you got out of that situation doesn’t mean everyone else has the ability to.
As a former barista, you should know how it felt but also understand that because of this pandemic, stores are closing, partners are getting sick, and still, people are coming in droves and we STILL HAVE HAPPY HOUR. So yes, sorry the barista THOUGHT to wish you a bad day (I doubt they said that to the customers face) and hurt your feelings.

First, I hope most people understand I’m joking when I say I hope a customer has a bad day when they order a frap ( this clearly went over your head ). Second, I love my job, genuinely. I chose to work at Starbucks because I love the atmosphere my team makes and I’ve never been happier. There’s bad days at work just like every job, and as someone who gets stressed easily, sue me for wanting to vent on a sub that was created FOR BARISTAS TO VENT ON. I work at a store that’s very high volume anyways, but with a store nearby that’s closed due to Covid we have triple the customers we already have. It’s holiday season, we have mostly new hires like myself and most of them haven’t finished training, and we have other partners who can’t work 40 hours a week like I can due to school or other personal reasons. I knew what I was getting into when I started, but forgive me for wanting to breathe during my shift.
