LISTEN UP YALLLLL. as of this morning governor inslee announced that ALL restaurant lobbies will be closed for the next month. that means drive through only. can we just take a minute and appreciate that this man is trying to keep us all safe when starbucks didn’t give a shit ???? just thought i’d share this excitement

i’m ridiculously excited!! now if only we started encouraging/requiring masks in the drive thru. the customers are WAY less than 6 feet away at the window and there’s no plexiglass. i wish everyone understood that masks should be worn there, too – not just inside the store.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up, they did this in my state and we didn’t close because they said we weren’t technically a restaurant and we just did grab and go.

In Oregon the governor put a “2 week pause” on things (super vague) and we still haven’t heard about how that’s gonna affect us. It starts on Tuesday :/

I think the 25% was to grocery stores. It did say all indoor seating, BUT I don’t think it actually restricted us from serving a grab-n-go function. As my store has a fully open lobby, I’m THRILLED, but unfortunately I have a feeling we’re still going to be stuck seeing customers.
