So working through covid as a ssv has been pretty hellish to say the least, but recently i’ve been out OVER THE TOP. Amongst the ridiculous scheduling, customers, and understaffed shifts, i get to work with someone everyday whose boyfriend is covid positive. although failing the virtual coach questions, she was still told to work and after talking to the DM, he said and i quote, “the damage is already done so she might as well keep working”. Fuck off.
Edit: Thanks everyone for the support and suggestions lol. I honestly convinced myself everyone was dealing with similar shit buuut tomorrow i’ll make some calls 😃👍🏼

“There’s your drink, your butter croissant, your card, oh and some covid. Have a good day!”
This manager is an idiot. Call the health department, no joke.

Call PRSC and/or ethics and compliance.

We had to shut down because they allowed someone whom was waiting for her test results to work and she worked with every key carrier over 3 days pulling long ass mids from 9 to 530 Saturday and Sunday and finally Monday she worked from 9 to when she got the call at 1130 that she was positive.

I would call partner resources and report your dm anonymously and say that you can have other partners corroborate that statement. I would also call your local health department and let them know that’s what your corporate leadership’s mindset is and ask for your health department to follow up on their end. Good luck that DM is not what Starbucks is about.

I am so sad for you. I hope this never happens at my store.
