I am DONE. I just can’t take it anymore. I have so many feelings I want to put into words right now, but I have zero emotional bandwidth.

Bux has failed us. They have failed me. The bad part is, my manager won’t give a flying fuck and will probably just roll her eyes when I hand in my notice.

8 years of my life... lost to a company that doesn’t care about its people.

I understand how you feel.I am a 186 and I just put in my two weeks also.Starbucks is nowhere near the company it use to be when we started. They use to actually care about the partners, now it's only about the money

I just wish I took that severance package instead of trying to muscle through :/
NapalmBarista 6 points 2y ago
can you believe i asked for the severance and they denied me? it was wild. dm said they’d “do better to accommodate wounded veterans.” then didn’t do shit.

Tbh the severance package wasn’t worth it after taxes. Severance is subject to supplement wage taxes which is 22% and you still have to deduct your regular payroll taxes after that.

Ive worked many customer service jobs and Starbucks has the worst customers I’ve ever experienced in all my work experience.

They are exhausting. Demanding. Impossible to please with too much money and too much time.

Kudos to you. I’m on my way out as well. I hope you find something better for your emotional health.

So I clock in and tell me ASM that I’m giving her my 2 weeks notice. Her response was, “Oh, okay.”

So upsetting. I’m so sorry.

Each weekend is getting progressively worse. On Sunday we had only 1 espresso machine and a call-out (when we are already understaffed) on our busiest day. DT times were 10+ minutes and the DM refused to turn off MOP. The lobby kept filling up and we were all overwhelmed and angry. Partners were texting the ASM telling them nobody was taking their 10s or 30s and just got "Ok" as a response. My last day in 12/6 but I don't know if I can make it until then.
