Today was my last day at my Starbucks store. It’s a bittersweet day because I’ll miss some of my coworkers and some of the regulars we had. I might of only been there for about 10 months but I was very ready go due to my manger trading my shifts without telling me, her denying my availability for school and some of my coworkers ignoring and hiding things from everyone. I’ve learned a lot what goes on in a Starbucks. The drama and rivalry between two teams that should be together in one family. But I learned how to make some good coffee and met some amazing people that will be very good friends! I’m happy I got the experience of working in a coffee shop! Thank you for my short leaving rant of my store!!

I quit today too. Found a different job. I’m not paid enough to be straight up yelled at by Karen’s with too much money and too much time. Not worth it. Plus they ignore my scheduling availability repeatedly and the employees are cliquey and catty. Not for me.

Which sucks because I really enjoyed making the coffees and the insights this job provided.

Greener pastures, my dude.

Right the job was fun in the beginning but went down completely!! I left as a 95% of our staff was quarantining. Our manager and the lady above her told us they care for our safety but had 4-5 of us struggling with the store instead of closing our store. Then one of the girls has symptoms and is getting tested and they didn’t care they care for their higher up people then the people making them money...
