i was working handoff this morning, naturally we were behind (gotta love those saturday mornings). at one point a middle aged woman pulled down her mask, leaned around the plastic divider, and yelled at me because her daughter had been waiting for her frappuccino for too dang long apparently.
mam... please chill and also don't ignore the multiple safety precautions. the glorified milkshake ain't worth it.

I HATE THIS. A lady came in today for a mobile and she took down her mask to say her name. I immediately say “can you please keep your mask on I can hear you it’s ok.” She replies back of course and then I ask her the name for the mobile. This lady pulls down her mask AGAIN to say her name. Like ummm did you not just say ok

And that’s just the beginning. So many people do this and it sucks. Why do people think they’re immune? It’s so unsafe

I especially hate the customers who use their iphone to pay. I understand it's convenient, but it is NOT okay for you to just "real quick" take your mask off to use their face id to verify the payment. I know you can use the pin, so please understand that you need to wear your mask properly, and use the dang pin. Argh

I really wish they would use their face id on the phone outside before they come in, they know they are going to do it. Just do it outside.

or just... use the code. or the fingerprint. my phone doesn't have either (too old for face id, and the home button is broken) and i just use my passcode every time. i promise it takes less time and effort to type a 4 or 6 digit code than take off your mask, wait for it to verify, and put the mask back on. safer too!! astounding.

Also the people who lean on the bar in front of the machines, please stop. We make everyone's drinks there, if you cough or sneeze I'm throwing everything out and cleaning. And stop leaning on my mobile order pick up especially when there are orders sitting on it!!!
