So fuckin tacky. How are people not embarrassed of themselves
NervosaNervous 3 points 2y ago
Idk. I’m too anxious to even say something if my drink was made wrong lmao

The company that I used to work for actually kept track of customers who had been comped. If they got comped so many times, they would have a note placed on their account that would say “DO NOT COMP”. Sbux should start doing that.

I'm so sorry.
*head pats*

Wow, what kind of person saves up recovery cards to go harass sbux with a crap ton of modded drinks? Wtf
bearyconfessional 9 points 2y ago
Or a former partner who stole the cards...seen it
ih8yogurt 5 points 2y ago
Wait... I thought the recovery cards are limit one per transaction...
HULAGIRLthatLIFTS 3 points 2y ago
Really? I’m two months into working at Starbucks and wasn’t informed of this. I rang up my first “recovery card Karen” the other day, and she not only bought expensive drinks, but also a freaking glitter cup with them.

Not for paying, as far as I know. But for giving them out, yes. (Unless I've been told wrong)
cilantroprince 2 points 2y ago
yes we def have a limit of giving out only one, so her having so many cards means she’s had THAT many transactions to get recovery cards
ih8yogurt 1 points 2y ago
I thought that the limit for paying with them is one per transaction as well
cilantroprince 1 points 2y ago
not that i’ve heard, and i’ve seen my boss accept more than 1 at once

Truth

It has been my experience that people who have a lot of cards have a friend/relative that gives them out.
cilantroprince 1 points 2y ago
nah, she’s a regular and always causes a fuss. she always orders drinks we don’t make and complains wildly when we tell her we can’t make that bc it’s discontinued or against policy, then the next time orders the SAME thing again, knowing we can’t make it, just to complain again. also it’s definitely not cool to be giving our multiple recovery cards to friends and family members...
