Hello, customer here. I frequent the same Starbucks throughout the week. I will leave a tip on the app each time. I was just curious if the cashier can see when I tip right away? I hope so bc I want them to know I tip bc I appreciate them. It has gotten to the point where they recognize me each time haha. Thanks!

unfortunately we do not see who tips on the app- it keeps track of online tips throughout the day and the supervisor will cash them out at the end of the night. we appreciate them nonetheless! if you’re really worried about it, try tipping cash or even leaving a little note or card for the baristas! i’ve had regulars leave cards of encouragement telling us we’re doing a good job and they make my day.
