Idk, this whole week has been way more busy than normal so I'm expecting the worst. 😔

In the past it actually hasn't been too bad on Thanksgiving...not nearly as bad as Christmas.. However, I'm expecting it to be a lot busier this year due to COVID.

my store was completely slammed this morning, our drive thru line was all the way to the bank (which is across the parking lot from us) and our mobile and cafe orders were nonstop. felt a bit like red cup day to me. since i put the order away this morning my shift had me planted at the pickup counter after i was done handing out drinks. it was ridiculous people were getting upset when i only handed them one of their drinks or didn’t get their food yet they would say “i have another drink” and I wanted to politely tell them “do you not see how busy we are? have a little patience, just because it’s thanksgiving doesn’t mean you get to be rude to people in customer service. also this “holiday” shouldn’t even be celebrated but it’s too busy to get into that now” sorry about my tall rant
