I raise you ~all of these~ two, oh so confident “avocado shots” (affogato)
cottoneyedloges [OP] 2 points 2y ago
The confidence these people have is just..*chef’s kiss*

i feel like carmel people are the most likely to have you remake a drink
cottoneyedloges [OP] 3 points 2y ago
No doubt!!

my coworker says expresso and it’s physically hurts to hear it
cottoneyedloges [OP] 3 points 2y ago

yayannapav 3 points 2y ago

Two signs this person doesn't actually work at Starbucks.

1) they said frappe instead of frappuccino

2) they don't know that frappuccino people are the worst, and it's not even close
cottoneyedloges [OP] 6 points 2y ago
I do work at Starbucks. Note that each word is in quotes.
OakFical 2 points 2y ago
Oh shit! Frappe people are even worse than frappuccino people
OakFical 1 points 2y ago
Now understanding the question, I think expresso people are way worse
cottoneyedloges [OP] 13 points 2y ago
How about the “can I get a CARMEL FRAPPE with a shot of EXPRESSO” people? Oh yeah, and make it
5 VENTAYS during rush.

That’s another that I hate - “Ven-tay”

"Dol-say" people honestly
RekoJeeves 3 points 2y ago
I had an aunt in Colorado pronounce the designer ‘dol-say and gabbana’ and my skin crawled. When you’re that commuted to being monolingual you get foreign loan words wrong...
cottoneyedloges [OP] 1 points 2y ago
Oooooooohhh you’re right
RekoJeeves 3 points 2y ago
Isn’t the two-syllable pronunciation a regional accent though? The other two are understandably bad but an accent is just an accent. Karen’s use the 3-syllable caramel pronunciation too (as someone in a 3-syllable pronunciation area-I know firsthand)

Wait that's literally how I've pronounced caramel my whole life. Is that like a personality trait??
