why is it so difficult for customers to realise that we are working minimum wage in the middle of a global pandemic at Christmas time when things are crazy busy?
im sick of being treated like shit everyday im at work when im fucking terrified of walking into every shift and possibly catching a virus which may kill me (i am immuno-compromised).
IF I MAKE A SLIGHT MISTAKE DONT SCREAM AT ME FOR IT, THERE ARE BIGGER ISSUES IN THE WORLD THAN UR 'CINNAMON SPRINKLES'.

i had a customer tell me to f off because i asked him to put his mask on properly. half the time people don’t care what’s going on in the world, they just want their overpriced coffee

I had a woman demand my name and threaten to get me fired because I asked a clarifying question about her Frappuccino when she ordered it “with less milk.” We don’t get paid enough for this.

Wisconsinite here and I can back this up. In my small hometown of Sharon, about 2k people, we've lost about 100. One in four of every citizen contracting covid had to be shipped out in a damn medical van to be safely transported to the nearest hospital, to try and keep it contained. This thing is not a god damn joke, until it happens to you. My old boss didn't take it seriously, thought this whole thing was super dramatized. Her uncle is still on a ventilator.
