From my experience it would be more concerning when everything seems to be too normal. Like having scheduled training time, talks about new standards and just an overall “suddenly they care” mentality. Another one is if the managers are looking for partners to cover shifts that perfectly match your schedule. I’ll also add, before they ‘fire’ you they will have issued write ups and corrective action forms so they can create paperwork to justify your termination. Don’t over think it, you’re working hard already and the job is stressful as it is. Don’t let the stress get to you. Look after yourself first. Another way to look at it could be that the SSV sees you as independent and you don’t need someone to hand hold you over these standards, and someone like that is a great asset to Starbucks. Keep up the great work!

Yeah honestly 9 times out of 10 when you think you’re gonna get fired at this job it’s just overthinking. I’ve seen baristas get away with some foul shit with nary a warning. They probably just think you already know it or maybe even just forgot. I wouldn’t stress.
