Cold Brew Pumps? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by aarushsaini
So I’m relatively new and I’m still confused on the amount of cold brew pumps we use. I see 1/2/3/4 a lot, but on the app, it says 4 pumps for a grande?? I’m assuming it’s because the app is showing how many CBS pumps and not hot bar pumps right??

Say I wanted to make a salted caramel cream cold brew.. we have a CBS pump and a hot bar pump for caramel syrup, so can i use either one and just half it on hot bar? Thanks!

The cold brews are weird. Vanilla cream is 1/2/3/4 but salted caramel cream is 3/4/6/7... I don’t really know why? I figured that out when I was doing DTO....

All cold brews with foam get 1/2/3/4 from the hot bar. A regular cold brew with a syrup modifier gets the 3/4/6/7

But you should be using a CBS pump for the 3/4/6/7. So 1/2/3/4 if you’re using a hot bar pump.

You can use the CBS one or half hot bar pumps!

the 1/2/3/4 refers to hot bar pumps bc cbs pumps would be 3/4/6/7 so they’re just rounded (:
