I wasn’t even supposed to work today. My coworker texted me last minute to cover a closing shift and I’m too nice so I accepted. Little did I know, we are out of almost everything. Almost no breakfast sandwiches, no grande hot cups, no grande cold lids, no sleeves, no honey, no green tea, no peach tranq, no a lot of other stuff. Line out the door still (8:30pm) because of a stupid light show drive through down the street. There are 3 of us on floor and only 1 machine working. Orders 5+ and hitting 40 on the half. It wouldn’t be so bad if we had supplies, but like I’m exhausted.

My manager refuses to give us more labor even though this drive through down the street keeps us swept until closing. They had one for Halloween which sold out with people coming through from all over the state. Now they are doing a holiday light show drive through with the same thing happening. It was hell then, and it is hell now. Last time it was only two weeks, this time the light show is until mid Jan. I can’t. Ahhh
