WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR MOBILE CUSTOMERS TO JUST SAY THEIR NAME? Why must they point to drinks when you ask “what is your name?”. One day I’m just going to lose my shit and scream 😱 WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING NAME
How do they pick up a pizza or any to go order in their life? When I pick up food for myself or others i always share my name on order. We don’t care if you are a boy picking up under a girl name or vice versa. I can’t anymore #onlyatstarbucks

10/10 will give praise to customers who ask us straight up if we have an order ready for [name] bc it helps so much instead of them awkwardly standing there or floundering about with their entire order or pointing at drinks.

Sorry post is regarding mobile handoff. They determined their name on their app. The only thing that helps is the customer knowing their name

I had a lady come in and pointed at the 4 fraps on the counter I was handing out to another customer asking if they were hers, then I asked her her name just to see that her order was a trenta tea when checking lol I can’t with people

To be fair, some folks are sent on errands to pick up orders that family or friends placed with zero idea what that person actually ordered lol

Haha i know! it’s like bloody hell, did you hear the question? Can you imagine going to pick up pizza and saying “i ordered a pepperoni pizza”

I love the people who just come in and stand around waiting for me to call out their name and leave it one the counter as if that’s how we’ve kept doing it since March.

Sometimes I'll literally wait a few seconds if they say "i have a mobile order" because I want to see if they'll remember to which 99% they dont so I'll just be like
... ummm ok so what's the name on the order ???
