This was happening to my hands too! I found out that I’m allergic to the soap Starbucks uses, and I had to start bringing my own soap. I ended up quitting for a ton of reasons but one of them was that they weren’t very accommodating. I suggest getting allergy patch testing, I feel so much better now!

Are we allowed to bring our own soap??? I might have to start doing that.

Nope. If you have an allergy you need to have documentation of it and call PRCC (I think that’s what it’s called) and then they will give you a temporary accommodation to bring your own soap, until Starbucks can find a soap they approve and can manufacture or are already manufacturing that doesn’t contain the chemical(s) you’re allergic to. Then your SM/SSVs will have to order your soap the same way your store orders the normal soap, except you will be the only partner allowed to use the soap. The whole process takes about 2-3 weeks to complete. Not including shipping for the new soap. This is a ridiculous process. I now work at a Target Starbucks, and the process to get me an accommodation was literally a 5 minute conversation with HR and they have been so accepting and understanding.
TLDR: no, unless you have an allergy. Even if you have a documented allergy they will make it so difficult for you to acquire said soap.

Yo I had to wear a glove on my right hand for about a week because my skin started peeling off 🤮

I call mine "alligator skin". My hands get all red and scaly. I hate that you are suffering too, but I'm also glad I'm not alone.
