So I closed Saturday night when we were down to the last of our dish soap. Didn't call around other stores cuz I figured it was coming on the Sunday load.

Came back this morning after having Sun off... still no dish soap..... which means now of the dishes yesterday got properly washed 🤢

And that is just one more reason why I'll be forever paranoid about the sanitization practices of public food/beverages establishments...

y’all can’t run to the store to get soap?????

Well I assumed that's what they were gonna do Sunday but you know what they say, you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.......

That was one of the first things I did this morning once I noticed it hadn't been done while I was off the day before tho.

But still... YUCK

This isn’t really that big of an issue, just call around find someone who has soap or like someone said go buy soap.

Like I said, I used the last of the soap *Sat night*. Sunday, ⁹pmy day off, was when it was supposed to come in on our load, so me calling around at the end of the night for something we're expecting to get the next morning is stupid and unnecessary.

But then come Sunday, (and again, my day off) it seems the soap *did no't* come in. I know this from opening *Monday* morning and realizing the soap was nowhere to be found. Meaning that none of the dishes - a busy ass fuck entire Sunday's worth of dishes, mind you - were washed improperly since you can't sanitize something that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned beforehand. And if you think it's ok for a food service establishment to be operate that way, even just once, well then... eeek, that is horrifying and you might wanna reconsider sharing that information with anyone from now on.

Uhm... don't you have to close? I thought there were a handful of things that are non-negotiables for the store being open; tri-folds, soap/sani, etc.
BuffyBoltonVampFlayr [OP] 1 points 2y ago
Um... that's correct.

But if you reread my post, I stared that we had used the rest of the soap by the end of my Saturday shift and since soap usually arrives on our Sunday morning order, there was no need for me to call around to other stores for some.

But the soap never came in, and I found out that we didn't get it because when ni opened on Monday morning there was none to be found. And since* I was off that day*, it can surmised that none of the dishes were washed properly that day.

Right, I know! I wasn't being condescending; I was actually clarifying for my own edification. Sorry if it seemed I was being rude!
