I FUCKING LOVE BEING A SHIFT SO MUCH I CANT EVER CALL OUT FOR ANYTHING CAUSE IM APPARENTLY ONE OF THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT CAN DO MY JOB OUT OF THE 6 OTHER SHIFTS. HAHA CAPITALISM MAKES ME SO SO HAPPY.

Another shift at our store offered to close for me tonight even though she opens tomorrow. I was SO FUCKING TOUCHED that she was even willing to do that for me. But then our manager said no. I mean, I get it, but it was still kind of frustrating.

starbucks is the worst company ever. I found out a close friend of mine passed away on a half and my manager refused to let me go home early. fuck them, so glad i left

I’m so sorry about your pup. I had to put mine down Saturday morning and could not imagine going to work. Everytime you start to feel sad at work, remember the good times! Good luck:/

Yeah I hate capitalism. If only we had communism. That way, every single day from 7am-7pm every single person in the country gets called into role call for work, dead dog or not.

They do. A healthy work life balance exists under socialism.
But honestly? I just told you I had to put my dog down and that’s what you come at me with? That’s really nice. I’m an avid leftist and make jokes about capitalism all the time, and that was mostly a joke my man.
Socialism would at least foster more empathy for our fellow workers than the cut throat capitalist world we live in now does ✌🏼
