I am a partner working in Singapore. And I need answers that my Store manager cannot provide.


So, last year I was 'supposed' to receive this star bonus program according to my store manager in December, (I have worked in that store for 2 years now) he told me that I was going to receive a bonus pay by the end of 2019. That wasn't the case, when I checked my payslip for the end December it was not reflected and when I asked my Store manager he simply replied 'oh, u started work 16 days too late for the star bonus'. So I thought to myself, ok sure I guess I'll wait till next year then. So this year, I received my payroll progression letter from the mecwise website and it states that I was eligible for a payout of $791, paid in 2 reimbursements.

And when I asked my store manager just yesterday, he replied that we shouldn't be expecting a bonus pay. This is infuriating, first, I got lied to by my store manager regarding my bonus pay in 2019. And now what? I've stayed another 1 year just to receive my bonus and I am not able to get any? (I have to serve the army soon as Singapore requires all males above 18 to serve)

Can someone please advice me on what to do!
