Didn’t they cancel the next two?
C10ckw0rks11 points2y ago
I got a double star day notification the other day
darkwolf5233 points2y ago
Yes I think
jeremyspence [OP]-1 points2y ago
I know there’s one today but that’s all I’ve got for information
BruceQuint18 points2y ago
Damn, I could have sworn the partner update said the one on the 9th and January 7th were cancelled.
jeremyspence [OP]1 points2y ago
Nope, it’s a go today. I work in a cafe store and it’s hard to keep everything in order during days like this.
samechange49 points2y ago
Happy hour was definitely canceled for the whole US. It’s a double star day today but no happy hour.
iWantToBeARealBoy8 points2y ago
It’s double star day today, not Happy Hour. Happy Hours are only on Thursdays and they’ve canceled the next two.
BruceQuint5 points2y ago
Goddamn. Good luck today!
Simplyroro3 points2y ago
California canceled
NOTcreative-16 points2y ago
It’s double star day but not happy hour. They’ve all been canceled
darkwolf5231 points2y ago
Why did you get 2 downvotes
ncart9 points2y ago
Because there is no happy hour today, and no push notification was sent about one
darkwolf5232 points2y ago
Oh ok
JNYfromtheblock29 points2y ago
There are no Happy Hours for this month. There was supposed to be one in January but that has also been canceled. This was a company choice for the entire US. They have changed all Happy hours to double star days instead.
GoDieInTheWeeds5 points2y ago
More than that I believe they limited the double star days to select customers to limit foot traffic through the stores
JNYfromtheblock3 points2y ago
Yes you’re right, now that you mention it, I remember seeing that same verbiage in the weekly updates and Roassan’s message on the partner hub.

Corporate: Hey! We're cancelling happy hour!
Partners: Yay!
Corporate: But we still care about money more than your lives so we're keeping double star days!
🙃

Seems legit

I'm honestly cool with collecting unemployment they were giving me more than corporate ever was lol

And that is the difference between you and I. I don't really care about the money as much as I do the safety, security, and health of partners who are working during a pandemic. I don't work for corporate. But I care more about the partners more than they do.
sdkid923 points2y ago
You like to work hard and get compensated for less than the physical and mental labor you put in for a corporation that would sale your tears to their customers if it sold well?
softneedle8 points2y ago
Happy hour was cancelled!!!! At least until January
NOTcreative-6 points2y ago
Happy hours have been canceled
LZARDKING5 points2y ago
Happy hour is cancelled!

god have mercy on us

Demoralizing
mrsnataliehooper3 points2y ago
Damn that explains why our store was a living hell today with mobiles. And we were shortstaffed. I got 25 minutes of break time during a 6 hour shift lol i sacrificed because we had a greenbean on floor and our closing shift didnt do any of the tasks they were supposed to so we started out miserably behind and it got worse as the dsy went on. 🥴
dfarner3 points2y ago
Happy hours are cancelled and replaced with double star days
lebeastfromtheweast2 points2y ago
I work at an in-store, i closed by myself for all but one of the happy hours 💀
kklynn9012 points2y ago
my face getting the notification while i’m sitting home quarantined 🙃🙃 our sister store is shut down AND my store only has like 5 partners that aren’t quarantined right now 🥲
cs_phoenix-6 points2y ago
I agree with the meme but I’m curious why people keep saying global or international pandemic. A pandemic implies that it’s worldwide lmao.
