I read in the weekly update I think that all baristas have to take some "bloodborne illness" training something or other on the computer. It shouldn't take long but it might just say that in your schedule so they know to have you do the training module on that day.

it could be possible that not the whole shift is training. i've been scheduled for 8 hours before and it says training on the schedule but it turned out to be an hour or two of some new online training that i hadn't done and then i was out on the floor for the rest of my shift.

they probably just want u to get a chunk of practice on things like bar, DTO, DTR, and warming, etc i’m assuming lol

it’ll go by quickly. I had the same when i started and i learned A LOT in those 8 hours lmaoo

been here about 4 months and i think my ASM scheduled me to come in for extra bar training a month or two after i started working, it might be for that??
