Solidarity friend. I had to quarantine until negative test results and I didn’t even leave my house because I was so worried.

Me too! I had no symptoms and didn’t leave the house for 6 days. No dog walks, groceries delivered. Just the thought of exposing someone made me sick to think about. Test was negative in the end and I can say I stuck by what I said I would do.

Proud of you! The furthest I went was the end of our footpath on the front lawn just so I could get small doses of fresh air

Mandated self-isolation is not paid time off. If someone is not self-isolating while being paid to self-isolate, you can report them to Ethics & Compliance.

18 of us got told to isolate due to a positive in the store. On our call the DM specifically told us to make sure we come get our mark outs every day through the DT 🤯

Same DM who said it was fine the positive partner didn’t quarantine after coming home from Disney..........

Call ethics and compliance and turn that DM in

i had to self-isolate a couple months back, and i literally barely left my apartment for two weeks. the only times i did, was twice to meet my parents in the parking lot with groceries/food for my cat (delivery wasn't an option for either), and like twice to check my mail. both times i masked up, and for the mail checks, made sure no one else was in the hallway. the only living being i saw outside of the parent drop-offs for 14 days was my cat. it's not a joke guys!!! please take your isolation as seriously as you can.

I was under COVID isolation. No store in my city would allow anyone other than the partner pick up my weekly bean markout. Not to mention free daily food/ drink item. This was even after I called my SM and made accommodations for my mother to pick up my tips.

If you think working at Starbucks, especially high volume drive thru stores, isn't a completely major germ spreader then you're either in denial or completely stupid.

Me going through a drive thru, interacting with someone for 20 seconds, is minuscule compared to working the floor where everyone is a foot apart and repeatedly touching literally every surface ever.

So actually we're all scum until Starbucks decides to shut down again and give us cat pay, which will absolutely never happen again.

The point is they’re supposed to be isolated. Not going out to get coffee and fuck around. This must have struck a chord with you.

Nope not really! Just facts
