SSV pay was $11.59/hr before the raise. In Austin we got a bigger raise because of how hilariously behind the surrounding area we've been for the last few years. We've been *hemorrhaging* partners for other jobs that pay their new entry-level employees better than we paid supervisors ,and our area spent this year conducting financial research and collecting data on how many people we lost over this. So I can tell you that Austin proper is going to make $13.97/hr, but our neighboring cities just got the 10% raise and I don't know where they ended up. Presumably around $12.75/hr

It's not much, I can tell you that. I'm a barista and I'm making $9.50. Considering shift is only a few dollars more max...
In Texas, cities cannot control their minimum wage, so it's $7.25 federal minimum wage across the board, even for major cities like SA, Houston, Austin, etc.
