30 minute breaks are typically only given out if you work 6 or more hours. you should still be getting a 10 minute break though

You only get lunches when you work more than 5 hours. 4 hours means you get a 10 min break thats it.

Are you still getting a ten minute paid break?

yes

So you are getting a break then.
Lunches are only if you work 6+ hour shifts. Your shifts have been too short to qualify for needing a lunch.

I think minors get breaks for 5 hour shifts

I was just scrolling through and while the comments are correct about breaks being usually given for 6+ hour shifts, I have to make i a point that you said you are 16. You are a minor by technical terms, you need a 30 required by law. I suggest you speak with your manager.

yeah that’s what i was trying to get at! i understand a 30 min break only qualifies for 6+ hours, however i know that changes when you’re a minor. i’m not saying i NEED a break because i honestly don’t, i was just confused!

You may not need a break, but by law until you are 18 no matter the shift you work, your supervisor has to provide you a 30. It’s on the DCR. If your manager is no help, I would suggest just calling PCC (Partner Contact Center). I’m also in Florida, unless the law changes county to county
