I’m getting really sick and tired of explaining to people who are to lazy to pull their debit card out that I in fact, cannot scan that nice and shiny new little QR code thing linked to said debit card, in that app. Why?! Because Starbucks Corporate doesn’t care enough about us to make it easy across all platforms. We’re the scum of the Starbucks world over here. Please just pull out your freaking debit card or reload your Starbucks gift card on the app!!!! Merry holidays with all your stinking attitudes!

I agree, I just meant your beef isn’t with Starbucks, it’s with whatever company you work for. They could opt in to use the features that have been released on the app, but it would probably require them to update their POS.

I work at a Licensed Starbucks and the main reason is usually due to the POS being owned by the Store, and depending on the store you can even earn stars for just purchasing merchandise from inside the store as long as you use a starbucks gift card.
