Can a romantic partner who is not legally married to a Starbucks Partner use the free therapy sessions offered in our benefits? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My partner has been dealing with a lot of mental stress lately but lacks the ability to get therapy through her own insurance or sources. We are not legally married but would she still be able to qualify and use the online therapy sessions? Any info or insight is appreciated!

No, the benefit only extends to your spouse, domestic partner, tax dependent child, or any other tax dependent individual.

If I had to guess they probably cannot utilize your benefits. I recommend that you look into couples therapy, that way you can put it under your name and your benefits will most likely cover it. Even if it is couples therapy, it may still be very beneficial to the both of you
