for the past month and the next couple weeks this has been happening to my store and stores in my district and so now I have to extend my availability to help any way I can as so my sm says and yet it doesn’t occur to the other partners that it’s not a “two week vacation” they’re taking but my time away from my responsibilities that I have other than constantly standing and serving coffee at this point it just causes tension whenever I see my coworkers again

Whenever a customer wants to complain about wearing a mask properly or distancing Imma bring this up. Because then we end up having early store hours or closing for like two weeks.
Wear a damn mask, distance yourself so we can all enjoy the coffee

One of my stores had a positive case and we’re closed today and tomorrow. I work at a second store but won’t pick up hours there because of potential exposure.

I and my husband are in line at the free drive through testing site set up at the local community center. (They have free testing available M-Sa, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, and New Year’s Day.)

Is Starbucks taking care of the partners when stores are closed?
