Don't forget to accept your bean stocks!!!(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by DownWithTheSadness
I just saw on Fidelity that my stocks are available to be accepted. This year I had 6 stocks to accept- that was worth about $630!!!! Don't forget to accept them friends. I don't think you get them if you don't accept them.
If you don't know how, once you go onto Fidelity, there should be a stock plan called Bean Stock RSUs, click on that and accept your grant and you'll be set!!

How long do you have to be a partner to see this, a year?

Im sorry but im not sure! I've been there a year and 7 months and this is the second time I've accepted stock. Hope that helps 🤷♀️ you might

Same amount of time for health benefits and such. About 3 months. You can’t cash them out until they’re vested though, half vests in one year the other half in two years. So if you get 6 stocks, you can cash out 3 a year from now and the other 3 in two years. If you leave the company before they vest you lose them

You must be a partner to get the money. You get 1/2 of them November 2021. And the other half November 2022. That is called vesting. They do this to keep you employed.

You need to be a partner when they vest, and if you are, they're converted to Starbucks shares. You can hang onto those shares as long as you want though. You don't have to cash them out right when they vest.

A benefit of being a Starbucks partner is that you get stock from the company for free after you have worked here for a certain amount of time! Starbucks offers a lot of great benefits. It is a good idea to get on the hub and check out what those are! We get free Spotify too by the way! Definitely a benefit worth looking into lol

I cash my vested shares every year for a nice little Black Friday spending money! Definitely worth it, literally free money.

It definitely is a fun benefit! Black Friday money is such a great idea! I wish I thought of that this year!

I remember when I first found out about it many years ago and when I did, I cashed out close to a grand in stocks so I definitely think it’s worth it for a rainy day, or a little Christmas bonus.
On the bright side for your case, next year you’ll have more money to cash out!

Im thinking about taking out some of it, using half for a credit card and half to buy some different stocks that aren't Starbucks. You said next year, is there some reason why I can't cash some out this year anymore?
delidoll3 points2y ago
they're restricted stocks so that means there needs to be a certain amount of time before you can pull the money out...half can be pulled out next year (2021) and the other half the next year (2022). (-:

mine doesn’t say it :( only the Starbucks SIP anybody know why ?
DownWithTheSadness [OP]1 points2y ago
Someone else mentioned you have to be with the company for 3 months before it shows up. Maybe that's it? Or, do you get enough hours to qualify for the benefits? I think it's an average of 20 hours a week
Icedoutindia2 points2y ago
I should qualify according to those then so I wonder why it’s not there hmm
