If I get a shift covered, and the person who was supposed to cover gets sent on covid isolation, who is responsible for the shift? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My manager told me that I'll just have to work that day, but I thought once my manager approved someone covering a shift, it wasn't my shift anymore?

If your manager approved the switch in the system, it’s not your shift. If the switch wasn’t formally done, then you’re still technically responsible for your shift.

Exactly, they are going off company policy and Starbucks hate when they do that shit. Tell your DM and send the screenshots if you can. Don’t worry about being a snitch but there is always a reason why these rules are in place
