All of the other stores near us are currently closed due to partners having covid (we had one of our own at the same time but we get to stay open. Whoopee.), our store is getting their customers rn too. People were having issues with mobile orders and were calling us about it nonstop but one call was just kind of ironically funny to me.

This lady had angry called us because our mobile orders weren't working, the lobby was closed, and the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. She asked to speak to our manager and my SSV, who answered the call, told her that she's not in at the moment. The lady got angrier and asked how to spell out our manager's name (probably to write into corporate). She keeps going on about how ridiculous the situation is and my SSV apologizes and explains that we're extremely busy and very understaffed (since half our staff is in isolation). This lady has the audacity to reply with "well you guys should be better prepared for this pandemic!!"

...if we were "better prepared" for this pandemic we would be closed. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO STAY AT HOME.

My store went through that in the end of October/beginning of November. All but one other store in the area was closed and we were getting all of their business. It got to the point where we turned off mobiles completely and were drive-thru only for a while because we had so many people in the cafe, we couldn’t ensure proper social distancing. It was really bad. Then we had two partners test positive so we had to close for two weeks starting the Monday of Thanksgiving week. We still have our cafe seating closed and are only grab and go. It’s nuts out here.
