i don’t know how serious the relationship between your SM and partners at your store is, by my SM is very friendly and knows everyone well. i just straight up texted him one day ‘hi, i’m interested in becoming a trainer’ and he was totally on board. even if your SM feels you aren’t ready yet, they’d definitely keep you in mind and they’d then know to that you’re interested. good luck!!♥️

ahh thank you!! i get super anxious over things like this so seeing replies like these help so much!! i’m for sure going to let her know next time i see her or even give her a call one day. i really want this and want to show her i’m ready(: thank you again!

I skipped the trainer part a bit. I just said "Hey SM, Make me a shift." I did it as a passing comment while she was on oven and I was support and carrying dishes to the back. I was a trainer next week, trained two peeps, and then started shift training.
