I know one guy at my local Starbucks that got fired. he was *ultra chill*. not rude in any way. but he was slow. he didn't have that Starbucks vibe. he was kinda like a low voice stoner who's friendly with customers at the register. but he didn't have the pep in his step. you gotta keep the vibe going forward.

personally I thought he was a cool dude but the manager thought different and I can't blame him.

if you don’t understand something, ASK. ask your trainer and the other baristas literally every question you have. they’ll appreciate it and it will make everyone’s lives easier in the future

Yeah I get it today was my first day on bar. It’s a lot to learn but don’t be afraid to rely on your barista trainer for help as well as the other baristas. And if you’re unsure about anything, just ask.

Seriously just ASK and don’t be afraid to ask to watch when the register is slow.
