This jerk called the store like 30 min after thinking we were lying. Like bro. She’s not here. Idk why he trusts us to make him a drink but not to be honest about our manager 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Cast:
G: angry rude guy
SSV: shift
Me: hi hello 🙋🏻♀️
G: “last time I was here I ordered a chocolate cake pop for my son and you guys put the wrong one in. Can I get it replaced? It was supposed to be a nice treat for him and he was disappointed”
SSV: “did you contact the store about it? Usually I have notifications for issues like this”
G: “no I didnt. I just want a replacement FOR MY SON”
SSV: “unfortunately since I don’t have any communication on this I can’t replace”
G: *head explosion* “BUT MY SON WANTED THE CHOCOLATE ONE WHERE IS YOUR MANAGER”
SSV: “our manager is not here at the moment but I can give you the store phone number” *hands card*
5 MINUTES LATER:
G: *comes back into store* “I need the store managers full name and when they’ll be here since you guys can’t be trusted. I also have a DRINK”
Me: “excuse me?!”
G: “and i want THEIR name” *points at SSV in back room*
Me: “your drink is almost ready. I will get SSV for you”
The cake pop incident happened at least a week ago friends. He just wanted to be angry at someone for no freaking reason.

i don’t understand how ppl get mad so easily like is there something wrong with them? i could never yell at a stranger. seriously no respect for ppl like this, i’m over it, i get you could have other things going on in life but that’s really no excuse. my empathy’s wearing thin for these people.

In a certain way, people like that regularly threaten violence. Whether or not they can execute is another question. Fanon’s Wretched of The Earth has some interesting thoughts on the use of violence.

Why is it the cake pops that send people over the edge. I had a grandmother who almost lost her mind because we only had two pink cake pops and she needed 3 for her grand kids in the back of the car. I talk to her into taking a 3rd one that was still frozen, "it'll be like a frozen treat". I don't think I was supposed to do that but it made the moment right and she left placated.

I have a perfect analogy. People that get mad the cyclists are moving faster than them and choose to run them down. Actually happened to me.

This is what I hate the most not overly complicated tiktok drinks, not buying 10+ gift cards at the window, not ordering 10+ Frappuccinos all different flavors at the window. This. Wanting a replacement for something from DAYS ago. I don’t care what your excuse is. If something is wrong you tell someone right then and there. We constantly have people abuse our “the customer is always right” model to steal things which is fucking disgusting. I don’t get paid enough to deal with idiocy like this.
