While I can’t comment on everything else, your SM may need to take a page from my last two SMs’ Holiday playbook.
Each year we have a SSV meeting where we’re reminded that it’s virtually impossible to give good handoffs or have perfect closes during the Holiday season. Customer demand is too high and we’re too busy. So our SM basically told us to let it go, do the best we can and not to dwell on bad handoffs.
