Covid policy (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was working yesterday on a shift that no one else wanted and I had to cover for the SL before me. I woke up and it turned out that I wasn't feeling to great. I think that I have a cold or the flu but alot of those symptoms are pretty close to Covid so I was eventually told to stay home but I'm scared because I've been in contact with three people who have been around someone whose tested positive and then we had one person who told me that they did have Covid but it wasn't really a big deal. No one at my store will say anything because we're scared that we'll be the blame for everyone losing their job. I have tons of sick pay but last time I took off everyone got so upset at me that I swore I would just take of being sick at home. Do I have to contact my boss about using the sick PTO or will it just automatically be accepted since I'm stuck at home for the next week?

For anyone wondering, I have to put in a request next week when my boss does our payroll to use my sick time. It doesn't apply automatically.

I have attempted to discuss this with her but she told me to tell her next Monday whenever she does pay roll. I don't think I have Covid because even after a day of rest I feel a lot better but I am getting tested tomorrow.
