Am I missing something? They wanted a cold drink with no ice to make it seem like they are getting their moneys worth. How is that being an asshole? Que downvotes if you want, you are an asshole for putting her name out there.

I’m pretty sure they’re saying Laila is good for ordering a super simple 2 step drink.

I'm so confused by this- Starbucks Standard would technically dictate that we fill it to the top line and hand it out... not fill it all the way with milk and then hand it out. Right? Shouldn't we be charging for 'add milk' when this happens?

In all reality, I don't care. But labor cuts being what they are...

I literally never charge if it’s a no ice drink idc. This company makes so much fucking money.

Its one of those things where it's like.. is the hassle of dealing with the back and forth argument between you and "Laila" worth the 30 cents or w.e it is.
The argument could range anywhere from "oh okay well they didnt charge me last time..". To an all out brawl where the customer threatens you, your kids, and your kid's kids, AND they kids. Which we all know ends in them getting their drink free for the next 7 days anyway. So who's really walking away the winner after something like that?

Edit to add something constructive..

I know it sucks sometimes to think about people cheating the system. However the easiest solution for everyone is to just let it happen with as good of a smile as you can muster up and not let it become a personal thing for you.
