During COVID, if your store is grab n go? Yes.

Nooo I used to work at Starbucks inside a grocery store and I loved havin convos/getting to know regulars! Customers usually mind their business as well as baristas so no one will be judging you and if you order a drink that wont bother them bc you too are a customer !

If the indoor seating is available, as long as you don’t do anything disruptive/illegal/destructive, we don’t mind you sitting for long periods of time! A lot of my favorite regulars sit in the cafe in normal times for an average of 3 hours. One of the regulars at my store would sit in our cafe for about 8 hours doing work. Just don’t be disruptive or destructive and you’ll be perfectly fine!

Make sure their dine in seating is actually open. I know several cafes have their dine in seating closed right now due to COVID, including the ones in grocery stores. If they’re open, just bring a laptop or a book to read and you’ll pass the time in no time, and no baristas will mind :)
