Our store is getting remodeled and it's supposed to take 2 months. I only have enough vacation/sick time for a couple of weeks. My SM said taking any more time than this is considered quitting.
Can I take a LOA? I don't feel comfortable picking up shifts at other stores with covid running rampant in my area. All of the other stores but mine have closed due to covid.

You have one unpaid Personal LOA available to you that caps out at 30 days.

Thank you. I read that in the handbook but I feel like there should be considerations made due to COVID. We're not even supposed to be mixing different shifts but they're okay with us picking up shifts at several different stores?
