Remember when it was a “star” per transaction? I had this piece of work pull up the speaker during the lunch rush and tell me she has 9 drinks all on separate transactions, you know to get my stars...

I had a lady tell me we spreading germs as we took her Lemon load out of the wrapping and in the pastry bag. She didn’t even have a mask yet she claims we the source of all the covid exposure. She didn’t even want the food and when she paid she gave like $3 more and got mad that we stealing her money and she calling corporate as she didn’t want her change. 🙄

i think the most drinks ive ever seen someone order in drive is 9. i just dont get why they dont just come in and order it-theyre gonna be sitting there waiting for a while. super inconsiderate tbh (to both the baristas and the people behind them)

Then have the nerve to tip 25 cents, talking about “enjoy!😇”
At my old dt store, we had the obnoxiously long orders like this pull over and wait. There was a hair salons up the road and she ordered 16 FUCKING “SECRET MENU” COMPLICATED ASS DRINKS EVERY DAMN DAY! And alwayssss ordered extra at the window! Even the SM at the time told her she has to come inside from now on. Our times would be sooooo jacked up! Had customers that were trapped in the line, call the store to complain 😩.

had about 2 large mobile orders back to back 😫 first was 10 drinks, second was 8 and I know there was more big orders through drive. but one of our regulars got himself a tall white mocha, patiently waited and tipped us $40 🥺 they’re the ones I do this for lol

Uggghhhhh I would’ve just told them to pull into the parking lot and wait, I can’t imagine the drive times! Our DM is always being super pushy about drive times and “re trains” when they’re not up to snuff

This is why I will never go through a drive through. I don't know how ignorant the person in front of me is.

What the eff do they think we are working with? Like it’s a drive thru and we only ever have 2-3 espresso machines and 2-3 blenders and they only work so fast not to mention everyone’s understaffed and it’s Christmas Eve and there are OTHER CUSTOMERS HERE. This is wrong to do in any drive thru. I don’t care if the cafe isn’t open either because you just don’t do this in anyone’s drive thru. Rude. Just rude. Yea it’s a business but screw that there’s REAL PEOPLE working. We are paid to make you drinks but not take your inconsideration. Plus we are giving up time with our families because the store stays open, it stays open because people show up and corporate makes money. I really can’t wait until the idea of avoiding going to non-essential places like this on a holiday becomes more common.

And how many did they "forget" the wanted alternative milks and extra caramel drizzle on? 🤦‍♀️

I feel this pain - we've been getting between 12-18 drink orders via drive through AND mobiles the past week or so. It's been hell 😩

Yesterday we had two mobile orders from the same person, we saw the first one “1 of 15” and internally screamed. Then we started pulling the next one “1 of 12”. This hoe ordered 27 mobile drinks

We worked next to a hospital and would get 20+ drink orders and it would end with us being yelled at Bc he ordered them wrong Bc he didn’t know what coffee drinks were (i.e. Frappuccino instead of cappuccino

That’s when you have them pull up front and they get to wait :))) they wanna be inconsiderate to everyone else in line than they get to wait extra long

Thank goodness it wasn't on Christmas Eve or Christmas, but I was on drive one night and someone rolls up, says, "hey, I have kind of a big order and it'll be in two transactions," and proceeds to order TWENTY DRINKS TOTAL. Nine in the first order and eleven in the next. No tip, and really impatient.

I work in a kiosk and people will order eight drinks and be mad when it takes too long. We only have two people working at a time 😳
