Had a customer mobile order a venti white mocha with extra whip and she arrived quite a bit later after placing it. She immediately took off lid and told me there wasn't anything in there which of course made me think someone gave her an empty cup. Turns out to be another case of just melted whip! I made her drink myself so I know there was PLENTY in there so I tried to explain that it just melted a bit and I could top it off or just remake it. She got offended and said it was fine in a tone to make me feel bad but in reality it made my day a little easier. We're not a drive thru or a high volume store but it certainly wasn't my first encounter of customers not understanding whip melts in hot drinks.

Ugh I hate when customers order drinks and pick them up an hour later and have the GUTS to complain that their drink melted. Bitch u did this to urself. Smh 🤦🏻♀️

We had someone mobile like nine drinks or so and they sat for over an hour so we dumped them out. Not even five minutes later the person comes to pick them up. I truly don't understand most people

One time, I just clocked in and was told to relieve someone on cafe bar. So I walk on the floor, they go back for a break, and immediately this old cow yells at me saying, “I’m not paying for this.” Well, you already did. So I go, “excuse me?” And she says, “there’s nothing in this, this is ridiculous. These drinks are-“ I cut her off and say, “do you want me to remake it or not?”
I had no energy to deal with being berated for 1. A drink I didn’t make and 2. The fact that whip cream melts.

I know exactly how that is and it's incredibly frustrating. Just because we're behind the counter people think it's alright to treat us however they want especially at starbucks

I once had a customer not understand what a cappuccino was... and always put carmel drizzle on it. When they asked to have less foam because it all fell under the carmel the last time they got it...
