We don’t sell it and aren’t supposed to give product away. It could be considered stealing or wasteful.

That said, I’m the kinda person who would ring out a venti water w/o water or ice, and extra extra EXTRA topping and just give the bottle away...

def not asking to steal!! a friend said they usually give them away to workers if they become out of season and have extras. you’re a kind barista, don’t have many by me!

Yeah that’s another possibility. Sometimes we give away extra stock. Starbucks still considered it stealing but I think that is dumb. I give away almost anything we are gonna trash.

so silly of them to consider that stealing, but of course i understand!

There’s no legitimate way to purchase or “trade” for a bottle, so you’re essentially asking someone to steal from their employer. This whole scenario is 100% a fireable offense.

my friend worked there a few years ago said that the workers usually get a bottle if the drink becomes out of season and they have extras that’s why i asked. i’m NOT asking to steal or get fired over this.

I can't speak for all stores, but at mine the store manager has to pack up those extra bottles and send them back. At least that is what he's said in the past about it. Could also be an excuse so no one takes topping or syrups home because it isn't allowed.
