Sick pay for COVID? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi everyone! I got COVID and have been out for a couple weeks. My SM had mentioned that I would still be paid for what I was scheduled to work, but I didn’t get a paycheck today. It’s not really that deep, but I’m certain we had a conversation about it so I’m mostly just curious how it works.

It may be you were paid, but the banks are closed bc of the holiday, so it didn’t show up on your account statement yet. I’d give it a day or two. If nothing shows up, then I’d talk to your SM.

We do get pay for COVID absences so I would definitely bring it up to your SM when you have the chance! You deserve to get paid.
