i was dtr today and spilled a customers drink when i was getting ready to hand it out (nothing got on her, the spill was 100% inside) and her response was “i can’t believe you just did that, you’re so stupid”

That’s ridiculous. I’d like to think I would have the wherewithal to call someone like that out: I’m really sorry I spilled your drink but do you think it’s ok to speak to people like that?

“ Awee that’s so sweet of you! You’re such a nice person, you just made my day”. Trust me, killing them with kindness sounds cliché, but it is the best way to make people uncomfortable and question themselves and also disappoint them by not retaliating and not being able to get in trouble.
